Lead Teacher and Director Lesley Holle

For over a decade, I have had the joy and honor of teaching preschoolers. Previously, I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BS in Elementary Education and spent several years teaching Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. With my husband, we are raising our high school aged son and middle school aged daughter. My other passions are cooking and taking family vacations to our National Parks.

Our Curriculum

Students will receive preschool instruction in alphabet and number recognition, reading readiness, math, science, language, music, art, and socialization skills and Bible stories. In addition, children will develop fine muscle skills while exploring and experimenting with different mediums, such as painting, drawing, writing, tracing, coloring, cutting, completing puzzles, and multiple other age-appropriate activities.

We use a gospel-centered curriculum developed from My First Bible Storybook published by Concordia Publishing House. Through chronologically teaching stories from the Bible, children learn about God’s people, promises, and the Good News of salvation for everyone given to us through Jesus Christ. Bible stories, prayers, songs, and attending an age-appropriate chapel service are part of the weekly curriculum.

We have also found that a 7:1 student/teacher ratio is the perfect number for maintaining an environment where we can easily individualize instruction and give each child the personalized attention that they need to be successful and happy in the classroom.
